Dear Colleagues,
Below is the Table of Contents for the new issue of
TheatreForum (
TF32) which is now available and is being distributed to subscribers. You will find the contents of all past issues on our website:
www.TheatreForum.org There are two items that may be of special interest to this list: the play
Vodka, Fucking, and Television by Maksym Kurochkin, and an article by John Freedman about the work of director Dmitry Krymov.
A grant increase from one of our supporting foundations has made it possible for the first time to include two sections in color. Because
TheatreForum is dedicated to documenting and discussing innovative and provocative theatrework, we feel it is important, if possible, to print in color to give a more accurate understanding of the visual aspects of a productions. After all, most productions are not simply shades of gray.
The two previously unpublished plays are:
The Unmentionables by Bruce Norris
Vodka, Fucking, and Television by Maksym Kurochkin
As always, there are photos documenting the productions.
We are always open to proposals for articles. Just send me a paragraph describing your intentions and why it is appropriate for TF. We pay 5 cents a word to a maximum of $150. We also consider innovative plays that have received a professional production, have not been published in English, and have available good production photos. We pay $200 for first rights.
